Zyon sailing in kayak in the ocean for a memorable challenge

ZYON SAILING IN KAYAK IN THE OCEAN FOR A MEMORABLE CHALLENGERudy Project is on a journey from Sydney to Auckland with two men and a kayak for the longest transoceanic expedition ever attempted by two men alone.

Together with their kayak the two young Australians James Castrission (25 years) and Justin Jones (24) are braving the 2200 kilometres of sea that divide Australia from New Zealand. The two daring athletes who set off on the 13th November aboard a canoe designed to encounter waves of up to 12 metres, now find themselves in the middle of the Pacific and are attempting a venture that has never been achieved before. In fact, nine months ago another fearless Australian challenged the ocean, but his adventure ended in tragedy.

For this enterprise, which is carried out in one of the most dangerous stretches of sea in the world, where the waves can overturn even the most technologically advanced craft such as during the legendary Sydney-Hobart, Rudy Project have supplied the Zyon Sailing sunglasses. Equipped with special side shields studied to protect the eyes from annoying lateral reflections, wind and water splashes, the Zyon Sailing sunglasses come with the exclusive photochromic and polarized ImpactX lenses by Rudy Project, with a lifetime guarantee for being indestructible, which as well as eliminating reflections caused by the water reverberation, avoiding tiredness of the eyes and increasing the contrast and the perception of depth, they also offer a unique polarization formula. This makes it easier to read the boat’s instruments.
Zyon Saling are also created with stainless steel metallic components to avoid the saline corrosion and they come with a comfortable and adjustable floating retainer, which helps to keep them firmly fastened to your head during even the most extreme movements and to ensure they float in case they fall into the sea.

James and Justin are expected in New Zealand for Christmas Day.
